This job involves building between six and twelve Joomla sites a year and managing a VPS with seventy plus Joomla sites hosted on it so far.

This consisted of repairing a compromised web server, malware removal, installation and configuration of a firewall, and virus scanner, re-configuring Apache and the hosting configuration, updating the Joomla version on 14 sites, along with all of the templates and all extensions, implementing additional site security measures, along with automated daily site backups.

This consisted of; replacing a compromised WHM/Cpanel VPS web server, building and configuring a new VPS, installing and configuring Plesk, a firewall, and virus scanner, configuring Apache, Nginx and PHP, mailservers, nameservers, DNS, transferring infected sites, malware removal updating the Joomla version on 18 sites, along with all of the templates and all extensions, implementing additional site security measures, along with automated daily site backups.

This involved analysing a VPS hosting multiple Joomla and WordPress websites with Plesk, quantifying load times on a sample of 100,000 plus web pages, increasing server resources, adding additional Apache Server modules, re-configuring Apache Server and the hosting configuration, switching from PHP 5 to 7, testing, and tweaking using  .htaccess for sites where the global Apache configuration wasn't optimal, along with automating daily site backups.

This involved backing up a site,transferring to a new host, performing a security audit, updating the Joomla version and all extensions, and adding additional security to the site.
